Hi Everyone,

So I have decided to run the Half Marathon on May 26th ! This is my first race and although I have enjoyed running for the last few years it has only ever been to keep fit and my runs have been short and at many times infrequent !!. So this is a big undertaking for me ! Having been in physical pain for most of my life which resulted in two major spinal surgeries between 10 and 13 years ago I never thought it would be possible to have an active life, or a painfree one either, so to be embarking on this running adventure is a big deal ! By doing this I wish everyone to entertain the idea that you can overcome many challenges in life, belief systems change and things you thought impossible can indeed be come possible and manifest too !

Along with this motivation, I am running this half marathon for my friend who is making the transition from this life to the next. I asked him to choose the charity and I would fundraise for him, my motivation being that he will receive the virtue of this act . He choose Marie Curie hopsice in Glasgow so thats where your money will be going. I understand money is tight for alot of us so I ask if your heart moves you to donate it will be greatly appreciated, any amount will be well received. Also, all loving prayers are most welcome, for my friend and maybe one  for me that I can finish it happily, without pain and with ease (!!!!).
