The training has and will continue to be HARDWORK but I'm hoping the VIBE and SUPPORT on the day will get me through the 26 and a bit miles and my struggle will be worthwhile! I have been so lucky to have so many people help me in my training... several running buddies who have made runs at "stupid o'clock" possible! Special thanks to Kylie, Nats, Will and Lou. And thanks to daddy atkin and his reminders. He has set the bar high having already completed 2 marathons!

My chosen charity is an AMAZING cause... the Rebecca McNie Foundation which was set up in loving memory of a very talented young girl whose life was tragically cut short. The foundation aims to give opportunities for your young individuals to participate in Sport and the Performing Arts. Some children need some extra help and guidance to shine!
