I have decided to run the London Marathon in April 2011 and all money raised will go to Guy's and St Thomas' Charity.

As you most probably know, my wonderful dad passed away from cancer in May. During his last days he was looked after exceptionally well by the staff at St Thomas' Hospital and it is for this reason that I have chosen Guy's and St Thomas'.

The charity donates any money raised to different areas across the board - including the children's hospital, however their main aim is to ensure that patients are given the very best care in the best environment possible.

You may also know that I am completely rubbish at anything to do with sports, however I am aiming to get fit and run the marathon in under 5 hours.... Which I can assure you will be nothing short of a miracle.
