A good friend of ours, Mark Winkless, is running the Brighton marathon in aid of Steps conductive education centre.

Steps has been an important part of our family's life since our daughter, Imogen, was 6 months old. Imogen is almost 4 years old now and attend steps on a weekly basis.  Steps is a centre in Shepshed, Leicestershire, that helps children with motor disorders such as cerebral palsy and downs syndrome. The work the do is second to none and doesn't stop at the centre. The staff are truly inspiring and are always helping in any way they can, including but not limited to, swimming lessons, speech and language, makaton signing, paperwork and loaning of equipment. They are counsellors for us parents and wil help out in any way they can!

Imogen is thriving! She is confident, funny, outgoing and caring. She has met milestones quicker than we expected and I believe that this was achieved through the intervention of Steps.

Steps relies solely on charity to be able to run their centre and receive 100% of the donations. Please would you help Mark and our family reach its goal. Without this centre and it's wonderful staff, I don't know what we would have done. Thank you.
