The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 7th October, I will be joining 10,000 others pounding the streets and beautiful parks of London to raise money for hundreds of worthwile causes.

This year I will be running for The Sick Children's Trust, a fantastic charity which provides high quality 'Home from Home' accommodation for families whose children are receiving hospital treatment for serious illness. They, like me, believe that no child should be separated from their family while in hospital receiving treatment for serious illness and exist to support and promote the child's recovery and further to support the fabric and well being of the family as a whole.

At the risk of sounding like a Tesco advert, every little helps, so please, even if you can only spare a few pounds, sponsor me to run the 13.1 miles and help raise money for a truly fantastic cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks,

Julia
