Lucy Abraham is raising money for Kidney Care UK
In memory of Julian Abraham
For 50 years, Kidney Care UK has been providing direct support for kidney patients and working hard to improve health and care services across the UK. With no government funding, it is your donations alone that improves life for kidney patients.

Story

Julian Rodney Abraham, my dad, suddenly passed away on 10th September, aged 64.  (not covid)

As many of you know Julian benefited from 2 kidney transplants in the 1980s. Dad’s 2nd transplant lasted 33 years making it (the transplant) one of the longest surviving in the country.

For this reason we are asking for financial donations to be made in his memory to Kidney Care UK for their continued support of kidney patients and their families. Over the years my dad fundraised for this charity, even running the hurdles at the Transplant Games (we have photographic evidence!). Julian received support from Kidney Care, particularly when he was first diagnosed with this life changing condition at 21 years old right through to his passing.

Please also consider becoming an organ donor to give others a second chance at life, just like someone did for my dad
