Thanks for taking the time to visit my sponsorship page for the Oxford Radcliffe Children's Hospital.

My wife Paula came up with the idea of entering me for this 5 mile run and I couldn't come up with a compelling reason for getting out of it - even though I'm overweight, out of shape and increasingly decrepid.  I haven't been running in a long time, but over the past 4 weeks I've been training pretty hard and I do, at least, now think I can finish it.  Miles, my son, will also be running and my personal target is to keep him in sight....

Over 65,000 children are treated in Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust facilities every year. Play areas, parent beds and classrooms in the Children's Hospital are examples of how that care is enhanced by charitable fundraising. Gifts to the 'Fund for Children' support facilities and equipment to treat, distract and calm young patients.
