The Broadgate Tower Run Up · 24 November 2018

We’re on a mission to transform the lives of young people living in low-income, underserved communities through sport and physical activity. We are committed to growing the reach and impact of our Doorstep Sport approach in more places, with more young people.

Story

I am very proud to be StepJockey's (www.stepjockey.combrand ambassador for 2018!

When Bella and I were asked to take part in StepJockey's competitive stair climbing race, we were super excited. The Broadgate Run Up 2018 will take place on Saturday 24th November @ 2.30pm.

The tower is 161 metres tall in the heart of the City of London, and the climb is 35 floor climb has 877 steps.

We are already in training, and really enjoying the healthy challenge together for an excellent cause. We are supporting StreetGames (www.streetgames.org), who aim to change lives by bringing sport to the doorstep of disadvantaged communities.

StepJockey's core values and beliefs very much align with my own approach to fitness, of keeping moving all the time!  I am always advising my clients to use the stairs and not the lifts, you would be surprised how little changes like this - make big differences! : )

Finally, anyone who would like to join us on the stairs please do get I touch with me ASAP – we would love more participants to join us?

Many thanks and go team StepJockey!

StepJockey and Motion Events Present their Stair climbing competition: The Broadgate Run Up 2018 on Saturday 24th November @ 2.30pm.

The Broadgate Tower Run Up returns for its 3rd edition this year, and as well as being open competitors who are raising money for a charity of their choice, some of the best stair climbers in the world will be competing to tackle the 877 steps over 35 floors of Broadgate Tower, in the heart of The City of London.

At StepJockey (www.stepjockey.com) we know all about the importance of keeping physically active, and the disastrous effect sedentary behaviour is having on global health. That is why we have partnered with Total Motion Events (http://totalmotionevents.co.uk) to help promote our message of ‘continuous movement’ through this innovative stair climbing competition!

We are delighted to have our clients and their employees joining us, plus an official StepJockey staff team, our brand ambassador - fitness guru Juliana Campos (www.julianacampos.co.uk), friends and family, and members of our wider community e.g. our suppliers.  We would also love to invite anyone along to join us who fancies the stair climbing challenge, please do get in touch.

All monies raised by StepJockey will be donated to our official partners – Street Games (www.streetgames.org), who aim to change lives by bringing sport to the doorstep of disadvantaged communities. Street Games have already transformed 900 communities, since launching in 2007, and share StepJockey's belief that physical activity is something that should be enjoyed by all.

Your support would mean the world to us and will help Street Games continue their incredible work transforming young lives through sport.
