Great North Run 2016 · 11 September 2016 ·

The North East Trust for Aphasia (NETA) supports people with aphasia and their carers. Aphasia means difficulties with communication, often following stroke. The person with aphasia can have problems speaking, understanding, reading and writing. This can have major effects for both the person and their family in terms of social life, work and relationships.

Story

I am doing the Great North Run again. Something I said I'd never do as I disliked the experience so much last time. I have decided to train hard and give it another go to help support the North East Trust for Aphasia. Any support, however small, is greatly appreciated!
