I DID IT!  I completed the return leg of my virtual challenge on 21 October 2022.

Thank you to everyone who supported me.  The money raised will go towards helping rescued horses and ponies - eventually finding them lovely new homes

I must be quite mad as I completed Lands End to John O'Groats on October 26th and am now starting to walk back the other way!

Please follow my progress and share my page to help me meet my fundraising target.  I have until 2 November 2022 to complete the return journey, but hope to get it done by the end of August.

FINGERS CROSSED!

I decided I needed to set myself a challenge to get myself moving after so many months of working at home during the pandemic, which has been isolating, and have signed up to complete a virtual "end to end" walk over the course of 2021.

As a regular volunteer at WHW Penny Farm, one of the things I've missed most during 2020 has been my weekly visits to the farm, meeting with friends and colleagues and of course seeing the horses and ponies in residence.  

I can only imagine the reduction in income the charity is experiencing with its 4 visitor centres having to close to the public.  The cancellation of large events too, such as the annual Open Days will have had a major impact. 

So, in my small way I'd like to raise some funds for this fabulous charity and if you'd like to support me, that would be fantastic.  I'll be posting updates each month so that you can see my progress towards my 874 mile target. Up to January 18 I have walked almost 41 miles towards my monthly target of 73 miles, so it's a good start
