Carlisle MENCAP is a local charity committed to high quality person centred support for people with a learning disability and their families. Through my work with Cumbria Police I have first hand knowledge of the excellent work done by everyone at the charity, and I am delighted to be able to raise money for them through participation in the Great North Run 2017. Any money raised will go towards the refurbishment cost of their adult respite facility, California House.
