I’m raising money for British Heart Foundation to help fund research for children with congenital heart defects like Magnus.

Magnus was diagnosed with a serious congenital heart defect called Tricuspid Atresia at a scan before he was born. This means that the right side of his heart wouldn’t work and without surgery, the blood couldn’t get to his lungs to collect oxygen. We were so lucky this was picked up early allowing him to be delivered near Yorkhill hospital to have the early life saving procedure he needed. 

Magnus has had 3 open heart surgeries since then and a few scary emergency trips to the Children’s hospital in Glasgow. Thanks to the operations and treatment, he is a happy 9 year old boy who very much loves life! We can’t express how grateful we are for the care Magnus received and would like to help ensure that the treatment for him and other heart heroes continues to improve.
