Hello.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Mum lost her long hard battle against Cancer on the 28th June 2013.

I would like to raise some money as a Thank You to Harlington Hospice who during the past 3 weeks have helped my Dad by sending in Night Nurses to sit with my Mum so Dad could try and get some well earned sleep.

Dad has been my Mum's main carer at home for the past few years. Mum's wishes were to stay at home and so with the help of Harlington Hospice we could do this.

My Mum has taught in The Hillingdon Borough for many years, started teaching in Pinkwell Primary School in Harlington and then joining my Dad at Townfield Comprehensive School in Hayes in 1972 til she took early retirement in 1986. 

This is just a small thank you to all the nurses who came into our home and cared for Mum during the night. Many of who travelled from a far, on the bus too some nights and all of these wonderful nurses are volunters.
