My name is Julie Lenarz and I'm the Executive Director of the London based foreign policy think tank The Human Security Centre. We aim to promote and help create an international society in which individuals and communities everywhere are able to live free from fear, free from want and free from indignity.

I was hoping to avoid the ice bucket challenge. But when it was eventually my turn, I decided to seize the opportunity to bring awareness to the crimes committed by ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
