In less than 2 weeks i am running my first marathon and hoping to raise some much needed funds for St Helliers renal unit.  Sadly my dad lost his battle with kidney failure eight years ago but while he was at St Helier the care he received was fantastic.  My marathon journey has been long and hard and i've had set backs with injury in the last few weeks but its nothing compared to what my dad faced every single day so even if you can only spare a pound or two it will go towards helping other renal patients and hopefully save some lives.
