On 15th September I will be taking part in the Boston Rowing Marathon in a single scull.  This involves rowing 31 miles from Lincoln to Boston in a little boat all by myself.

Although this initially started as a personal challenge, I felt that I'd like to get a little more out of the event than blistered hands and a sore bottom.... so I have decided to raise money for Springhill Hospice in the process.

Springhill Hospice provides much needed care and support for patients and their families in Rochdale, and in order to keep up this good work the Hospice relies on voluntary contributions from lovely people like yourselves :)
