Climbing Scaffel Pike for Louie Stanley · 26 March 2017
So after attending a charity quiz night last Friday evening hosted by my friends Katy and Gary Stanley who are raising money for their little nephew Louie.
Louie is non verbal and has autistic spectrum disorder and global development delay. Katy and Gary will be raising money by running the London marathon and other local events, monies raised will help towards Louie's treatment and his charity Brainwave who support him and his family. I was moved by the show of love and support from everyone who attended the charity quiz and watched as they all pulled together to raise money for this little boy and other families with children who face the same challenges in life. I mentioned it to my daughter Holly and my friends Michele Miller and Jody Knight and without hesitation they jumped on board to help raise money for Louie.
My lovely friend Michele Josephine Miller has already done a few charity runs in support of Louie and all this combined made me feel inspired to help. So on May 20th 2017 myself, Holly, Michele and Jody along with others will be climbing Scaffel Pike mountain in the Lake District and we have chosen this little boy and his charity as our reason to reach the summit. You can read Louie's story below. Thank you for your donation and for taking the time to read
Louie was diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Global Development Delay in October 2015.
Louie is Non-Verbal with limited understanding but a beautiful loving little boy
The Charity Brainwave are helping Louie and his family with strategies, a programme to help support his needs and lay down foundations for his speech and understanding.
20% of monies raised will go direct to Louie's treatment and the rest will go to helping families in a similar situation.
Thank you for your support.
All our love
