We have decided to support Gosset Ward Neonatal Unit Northampton General Hospital as they are desperately raising funds to build a parents accommodation so they can stay close to their babies if moved from another hospital.

A neonatal intensive care unit, also known as an intensive care nursery, is an intensive care unit specializing in the care of ill or premature newborn infants. Neonatal refers to the first 28 days of life. Neonatal care, as known as specialized nurseries or intensive care, has been around since the 1960s.

At GetFit Grange Park we are a group of locals around Northampton who come together of all abilities doing a boot camp style fitness class outdoors. Team unity and supporting one another is crucial as we work hard to improve not only our fitness but our mental wellbeing.

The Wolf Run is a opportunity for us to push ourselves bearing in mind some of us when starting this group had next to no physical exercise in their life. A huge achievement to get here and we are working hard by training before the event on the 24th of April 2022. 

As part of our journey we want to raise money for a good cause locally and felt Gosset Ward Neonatal Unit requires much needed support. We welcome our friends, family and wider network to be generous in supporting us.
