Hi All,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I did it.....I boarded the plane at 1pm with my tandem instructor Dave, who is also a current member of the Parachute Regiment in the Army (how lucky was I), just tandem sky diving in his spare time whilst on leave.  It only took us approx 12 minutes to reach 15,000 feet, 3 miles up in the sky.  Then the door opened, we shuffled forward towards the door.  I will be honest, I was very scared, so scared that for approx 30 seconds I did not want to do it, then I thought "I'm doing this for Mum and Anne", I then said yes, I lifted my legs into the jumping out position, Dave moved us to the door and then we jumped.  The feeling was amazing, just like you are floating in wind, my stomach did not have that sinking feeling and I did not feel sick at all.  Then the parachute opened, Dave tapped me on the shoulders, said you can now relax all is ok, take off your goggles and enjoy.  We floated beside a cloud and I said wow, how many people can say they have touched a cloud, Dave then said "well lets go into it" so we did, it was amazing, a light cold feeling.  We then slowly floated to the ground and landed safely.  It was the most amazing thing I have ever done and I would recommend you do it too.  I have attached some photo's and a video of the sky dive, please watch and enjoy it, as much as I did.

This sky dive was to raise money for LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice in memory of my Mum and Sister. I could not think of a better way to pay tribute to my Fantastic Mum and Super Sister than to support this great cause.
