“The time of the year”

on 31 October 2021

East Sussex WRAS was established as a voluntary group in 1996, but founder Trevor Weeks has been rescuing wildlife since 1985. The charity was set up to provide a front-line rescue & hospital service for people finding wildlife casualties as well as offering advice and information.

Story

Its that awkward time of the year and it seems like a good time to raise a bit of awareness about a local charity that are working super hard to keep themselves afloat.

WRAS are a great charity that provide emergency assistance, rehabilitation and support to a huge variety of British Wildlife from Seagulls to Bats and Hedgehogs to Deer. These animals would otherwise struggle to survive or die alone in horrendous amounts of pain.

So instead of cards or gifts (working purely on assumption here folks) please make a small donation to WRAS instead.
