Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you will know Lauren is the 5 year old daughter of my very great friend, Frances. Lauren was diagnosed with a brain tumour in July 2010. She underwent a year of radio and chemotherapy to be given the all clear in the Summer of 2011. Unfortunately in November a routine scan showed the cancer was back. Since then Lauren has been receiving more treatment which will include a stem cell transplant.

Lauren's response to the new treatment so far has exceeded everyone's expectations and she continues to go to school, ballet and keep up with her playdates.

Most of Lauren's treatment has taken place at the Royal Marsden where her consultant is based. Frances and Alex would now like to give something back to the hospital and staff by raising some much needed funds for them by entering Team Sesame Street, in the Marsden March on 11 March. I shall be joining them for the 14 mile walk from the Royal Marsden in Chelsea to the Royal Marsden in Sutton and would very much appreciate your support and sponsorship.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
