We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Most of you know me as an overweight 45-year-old who has historically hated to exercise and loves food!

I have decided it is time to set a challenge for myself - my mid-life crisis!!

I am embarking on 12 half marathons in 2018 - one a month. I have mapped out the ones I am planning to attempt to do - as long as my body enables me...

This is the first time I have ever done a challenge or focused to raise money. I have decided to raise the money for the mental health charity Mind.

Mental health has effect so many friends and family over the years and it is still perceived as a taboo topic. I hope the money I raise helps to support and change this illness that is affecting so many.

Please donate!!

The current plan:

1. January - Farnborough, ✅  2. February - Wokingham, ✅  3. April - Bournemouth, ✅ 4. Wimbledon, ✅ 5. May - Ranelagh Half ✅, 6. June - St Albans, ✅ 7. July - Woking, ✅ 8. , September - The Pilgrim Farnham ✅  9&10. September - Harrow ✅ and Horsham Half, ✅ 11. October - Eden and 12. November - Poppy Half. ✅

UPDATE: Fun Runs: April - Tough Mudder (Half),✅, May - Superheros 10km ✅

To finish off the year my daughters have agreed to do a 5km Santa Dash in December.

Everyone keeps asking if I have done one before. In 2017 I did one official half marathon and two unofficial half marathons.

I will update my progress on my Instagram account regularly @juzzyk21

Thank you!

Justin
