We enable disadvantaged children in Ghana to ensure they get the best start in life

Story

Due to the pandemic, the normal fundraising initiatives that take place have been postponed or cancelled. However, the children of Kokrobite and surrounding areas in Ghana still require so many much needed essentials.

The Thomson siblings are going head to head, taking an essential item each in a race to receive the most donations to support the Kokrobite Chiltern Centre’s local community.

Poverty is PANTS! Pretty please support to ensure children and teens have fresh, clean, new pants to wear, as pants are an everyday essential.

About the charity

Kokrobite is a fishing village to the west of Accra in Ghana. There is a lack of education here with most adults dependent on fishing for their livelihood. This is not reliable and does not guarantee an income. Many of the children in Kokrobite do not attend school due to the cost. We help fix this.
