BUPA great north run · 22 August 2006

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

On Sunday October 1st, I will be running my 12th BUPA Great North Run.

Over the past 5 years I have raised over £3,000 for several charities including SANDS (Stillborn & Neonatal Death Society), Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation.

This year my chosen charity is The Stroke Association - earlier this year my father passed away suddenly and in the latter part of his life suffered from a series of strokes.

If you would like to sponsor me you can do so in one of two ways:

http://www.justgiving.com/KR

or

by completing the sponsor form which is currently doing the rounds in Installations Operations, Teesside.

Your donation will be greatly appreciated by The Stroke Association and myself.
