Kailem's Charity Boxing Match for Domestic Abuse · 26 August 2017

Behind Closed Doors helps people throughout Leeds whose lives have been, or are, affected by domestic violence and abuse to cope, recover and move on from their experiences. Our Community Domestic Violence Team is part of the Leeds Domestic Violence Service, offering information, advocacy, and practical support to those who are at high risk as a result of their abusive relationship. Our Prevention and Recovery Service (PARS) offers a non-crisis response programme of emotional support to those affected by domestic violence and abuse who are at low risk of harm, helping them to make sense of their experience, recover and move on positively

Story

So for the third time in under a year, I am going to be putting my boxing gloves on in the attempt to raise money for charity and hopefully make a difference to the lives of those affected.

Having previously raised funds for Cancer Research UK and The David Pearce Foundarion, I now turn my fundraising focus to 'Behind Closed Doors', a charity that offers essential support to the victims of domestic abuse.

Any donation is extremely appreciated and it means the world to me that we are working together to try and make a difference to these people's lives!

Thank you all so much and I hope to see you in August for Fight Night once again!
