In 2004 I left the military after serving over 8 years in the British Army, in theatres such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq (Gulf War II).

For over three years I struggled with severe anxiety and depression (diagnosed with PTSD after a few failed suicide attempts) therefore, I know from first hand experience how much a service like this would have benefitted me at the time of my transition from the military, to civilian life. The level of holistic support that Solid Grounds provides former military personnel is hugely practical, highly impacting and has even been described as life changing by a number of it's beneficiaries - it is an honour to be involved with such a phenomenal vision and inspirational team.

The value of 1 human life far exceeds the value of all the riches in this world, therefore, as Solid Grounds continues in it's pursuits to impact the lives of 'one veteran at a time' - although I've hated heights my whole life, I'm 100% committed to 'FEELING THE FEAR, BUT DOING IT ANYWAY!'
