We need your help to make Kairos feel like home - we are trying to raise £1000 to buy our furniture after lots of unexpected renovation costs left us with less money than expected. 

WHO WE ARE

Kairos Women's Space is a second home for women in Renfrewshire and beyond. We offer courses, workshops, one-to-one support, campaigning and volunteering opportunities to all women and non-binary folk. We believe that when women support women, incredible things happen! Kairos Women's Space is a project within Active Communities (Scotland) Ltd. 

And me? I'm Katy (the Kairos Manager) and I'm very excited to be building a new space for women and non-binary folk in Renfrewshire. The BEST part? We're doing it together! There's no 'person in charge' making all of the big decisions, there's us, together, as a community... making the changes we want to see and growing together. 

OUR NEW SPACE

Over the summer we're busy renovating our new space at 8 QUARRY STREET, Johnstone. Thanks to our funder The Robertson Trust we've been able to build an accessible toilet, kitchen and repair the space completely! There were lots of unexpected costs during the renovations so our budget doesn't cover all the things we need.

WHAT WE NEED

So, WE NEED YOUR HELP TO DO THE REST!  We'd like to create a space that can be changed and moved around every single day to suit different groups. Here's our dream list: 

• 4 large foldable tables (£300)
• 20 foldable chairs (£260) 
• 2 comfy sofas (£370)
• 4 comfy single seats (£160)
