Dear Peeps,
Thanks eternally for visiting my page, as a former knee-injury crock I have decided to run the London Marathon as one of my main goals to tick off before I'm 30 (there's life in the old dog yet). I was fortunate enough to be presented with the opportunity to run for Kidney Research UK who I am proud to represent and raise money for.
Every year an estimated 60,000 people with kidney failure are alive today due to the advances in research that Kidney Research UK have directly contributed towards. Staggeringly, if you are black, Asian or another ethnic minority group you are five times more likely to experience kidney failure than other groups.
Over the coming months I will promise to be 100% dedicated to both fundraising and marathon training in the same way that Kidney Research UK are in finding better treatments and improving patients lives through their unbelievable work.
With that in mind I would be unbelievably grateful for any donations you wish to give and I will be sharing the hell out of my page as well as putting on some fundraising events over the coming months with my compadres Pickard and Minoit.
Thanks for visiting.
Kez xx
PS. big up my trainer and marathon guru Jamie Gavin!
