British Heart Foundation is a charity close to my heart as my Dad had a Heart valve replacement in 2007. I'm pleased to say he is fighting fit today, but it is without a doubt that research under taken by British Heart Foundation had a massive impact on him.

Your donation would contribute towards pioneering research which is vital as with more knowledge, BHF can further limit pain and suffering. The BHF has already identified some of the key causes of heart disease and played a major role in the development of pacemakers and replacement valves. The BHF also provide support and care for patients and their families, which aids the recovery for patients. The BHF is also active in sending out messages to encourage a healthier lifestyle, promoting the benefits of exercise and diet so we can invest in a healthier, happier future. 

Despite all of this, there is still a huge amount to learn, so thats why the money you donate will be helping BHF take another step in the race against heart disease.

I have already started my training for the half marathon (13 miles!!) but with donations coming in, I'll be more motivated to push myself!
