Sadqa Jariyah for my beloved brother Kamal Aftab, who passed away at the tender age of 33 from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia on 7th August 2015 . My brother had a great passion to serve humanity and would always carry out charitable deeds no matter how big or small. His passion came from his love for his creator and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who taught us that “Every good deed is an act of charity.” Hence in his memory I am raising money to build a water well through Humanity First for those that are in dire need of clean water. 

Water is a great blessing from Allah (swt) that we often take for granted. Around the world, more than 30% of people cannot access safe drinking water and over 40% lack adequate sanitisation. These factors lead to increasing disease and premature deaths. Humanity First provides clean drinking water to deprived remote villages and poor communities in Africa, South East Asia and Central/South America.

May Allah (swt) grant my beloved brother a lofty place in Jannat and have mercy on him. Ameen.
