Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

As many of you will know, my mum suffers from a condition called Ataxia. Ataxia is the name given to a group of neurological disorders that affect balance, coordination, and speech. There are many different types of ataxia that can affect people in different ways. For my mum, it affects her balance meaning she is unable to walk unaided.

Many people have never heard of this illness, and so I wanted to raise awareness and money so that more research can be done into finding a cure.

Whilst I am young, fit and healthy I wanted to do something to raise awareness of this and to support my mum. I will be running 2 half marathons within 2 weeks of eachother (September 30th and October 14th) and so any support you can give me would be greatly appreciated. It will be a challenge and so far training is going well!

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this. x
