Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those that know me will know that running is so out of my comfort zone, I was always making excuses at school etc. why I could not do any field events or any exercise in general really!

Over the last year I have made some amazing friends who have encouraged me to have a go at things I never imagined I could ever do. I have recently completed the Manchester Great Run with my friends by my side. 

Around the time I started to run I went to a local charity event at Higham on the Hill, Abbies Hideaway... It made me realise that there are lots of people out there that need a little support and help, so here I am hoping to raise awareness for such a wonderful charity that gives help and support to families with children with terminal illnesses.  A few years ago we lost our niece to cancer so I feel this is a very apt charity to promote, as it could have been there for our family offering support at such a sad and hard time.

So if you see me running (not very quickly I hasten to add) around this local area, please remember I am not just doing it for me, I am doing it for all those people out there who need a little help. So Honk your horn, shout encouragement if you pass me  by and please please show your support for such a worthwhile Local Charity Organisation.
