As many of you will be aware, on the 14th November 2015 our world fell apart when my brother John very sadly lost his 10 year battle with a brain tumour, leaving a huge gap in all of our lives. In John's memory,  I have decided, along with a few close friends, to take part in the Run in the Dark 10k event at Stormont on the 14th November which will mark 3 years since John's passing.  Given that it is a cause very close to my heart, I have decided to fundraise for a local charity Brainwaves N.I. who provide support and information to all those affected by a brain tumour including patients, their families, friends and carers. The work of Brainwaves N.I. truly is invaluable to those who are unfortunately having to battle this terrible disease.
