Many people find themselves falling on hard times, struggling to eat, clothe themselves, keep warm or even homeless. It’s unthinkable & unacceptable in this day and age that some people cannot access the basics of human need, safety & dignity.         

As we look forward to the coming Christmas season with family and friends it is easy to forget that WE ARE ALL JUST ONE UNLUCKY STEP AWAY from finding ourselves in this situation!

My hubby NEIL wanted to undertake a simple act of charity to try and help those who are facing difficulties especially as the season of Christmas approaches. 

From November 1st 2021 he has been participating in “MOVEMBER” which, for those of you who are unaware,  involves, much to my horror, growing a face fuzz moustache for as long as he (or I) can stand it!!

He is hoping to raise £250.00 or as much as he possibly can for Loaves and Fishes, a drop in centre supporting homeless, vulnerable or isolated adults. 

One of their current campaigns is to provide hundreds of festive meals to those in need and for every donation of £5 they will provide someone in need with a FULL CHRISTMAS DINNER and a GIFT on Christmas Day. 

Neil is going to contribute £10 per day and we will post pics of his ‘tash growing efforts’ as time passes to keep you informed. If anyone would be willing to donate whatever they possibly can to this great cause we would be so grateful from the bottom of our hearts.
