In memory of Jim Owens
We provide services and opportunities to promote good mental health and wellbeing

Story

We were devastated by the loss of our beloved Dad and husband, Jim Owens, on 8th February 2023.

Glasgow Association for Mental Health (GAMH) is an organisation that was very dear to Dad's heart.  He was a service user for many years, accessing frequent social and support events, and contributing as an advocate for better mental health support and treatment, in community health discussions and forums.  He was also a volunteer befriender to other service users, visiting them over a period of years, talking, listening and enjoying sharing their company and interests.

We will be holding a retiring collection at his funeral on 28th February but, if you are unable to be with us on that day, we would be very grateful for your contributions on this page.

Thank you,

Karen, Carole and Douglas xx
