I did a slightly smaller abseil in 2015 in Derbyshire for Fairplay charity so when I saw this slightly ( eek ) higher one I signed up quickly before I chickened out. I like to challenge myself … and see what's possible. I will be in training now to strengthen my arm muscles !!   It's a brilliant cause , we are all heading towards significant birthdays … and everyone wants to be independent for as long as they can. The @LiveatHomeSheff scheme helps to tackle loneliness for older people .
