Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Although I have continued running it's been nine years since I have completed a Half Marathon for charity so I thought I would do something this year. I would really like to raise money for The National Autistic Society and I hope to do that on Sunday 14th March (Mothering Sunday!!!!) 2010 at Silverstone's iconic race track.
As good friends, you are already aware that Ben is severely autistic and how this has a deep impact on everything we do. In those early confusing days when we were just finding out about Autism The National Autistic Society were very comforting and four years after Ben's diagnosis they still are. The NAS continue to provide information, support and vital training/courses for families in need and have also taken on the huge task to get the UK's first ever Autism Bill passed through government.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please if you can, dig deep and donate now ....
With much love and thanks,
Karen x
