We fund medical equipment and services to give our children the best possible care

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It's really simple, I am looking to raise money for Yorkhill hospital for all the amazing work the staff do there. My amazing daughter wouldn't be here without them so I just want to give something back to say thank you!

Amy was born with a heart condition. a large avsd. My understanding was the 4 chambers in her heart hadn't properly formed, one of her lower valves was deformed and had to be reconstructed. I had no idea this little value could have cost Amy her life. An amazing surgeon at Yorkhill performed a huge operation which I took Amy into theatre at 930am and she was the out till after 8pm. The longest most terrifying day of my life. Amy also has down syndrome. She most definitely isn't defined by this. It makes her even more amazing and she has changed me for the better. I love my girl with all my heart. A true inspiration.
