The Max Wax

Karen Walker is raising money for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution

The Max Wax · 11 December 2020

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) is farming’s oldest charity working across England and Wales. Our aim is that no-one from the farming community should face adversity alone. We provide tailored advice, access to counselling, practical and financial support, and so much more.

Story

At Crawford, we’re proud to help people at their time of need - indeed, our mission is to restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities.

Crawford have the UK’s largest niche rural claims team of which many originate from farming families and/or careers. Consequently, the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I) is close to our heart. R.A.B.I is a grant-making charity which helps farming people of all ages if they are in financial difficulty. Support is confidential and includes one-off or regular payments, funding for things like essential household items, disability equipment, relief farm staff, home-help and care costs. You can find out more at www.rabi.org.uk

Normally, at Crawford we have an annual conference which includes charity fundraising; however, for obvious reasons, we’re unable to get our teams and clients together. Instead, we’re holding a virtual conference and , in our own small charitable gesture, we’ve decided to lend a hand to Max Perris’ long suffering wife and help rid him of his inexplicable facial hair. Max has agreed to get it waxed at our pleasure ...but only if we’re able to raise over £1,000  for R.A.B.I.

So, we ask you, dig deep and help us help Max’s wife by ridding her of this abomination. Every penny counts and will help this great charity, please do what you can.

If we hit our target, we’ll ensure that the waxing video is shared so we can all share in Max’s pain and his wife’ delight!

Thank you in advance.
