FOR MY LATE MUM...
On the 14th October 2011 I organised a Zumbathon to raise money for Breast Cancer Research in remembrance of my late mum Vivienne... 3 hours of ZUMBA fun later and thanks to fabulous ZUMBA Jammer LYNA M, dance teacher & ZIN NIGEL MAY as well as LOTS of our own amazing local Merseyside ZINs (too many to mention xxx) and a HUGE number smiling Zumba participants all of whom gave very generously...

Together we raised £920.00 profit >>> WOW

Since then I have been involved in several charity events with the aim of raising money for various charities...

This money will be donated for my late mums 65th birthday on 2nd April 2014 together with other collected/saved money bring me closer to my target. BACKGROUND
My late mum Vivienne was an amazing lady, a true survivor... she found a lump in her breast and was given six months to live. Through sheer grit and determination she fought for a further 4 and a half years surviving a mastectomy, radiotherapy and finally chemotherapy... until her death in August 1991

My mum died aged only 42 years - Now that I am a mother myself and older than she was when she died, I realise how important mums are... losing my mum so young has been hard and I hope the money raised will help other familes and other women coping with this terrible illness...
