As an ex hospice palliative care nurse, I have seen how devastating a diagnosis of Glioblastoma is. However, I am very aware that my experiences were as an outsider only, caring for patients and their families for a very short period of time. I am supporting this small local charity because this disease has taken from us incredible individuals, being family members, friends and colleagues; and by helping them raise funds, they will be able to reach and help as many people/families as possible.
