Thanks for visiting my page, on the 15th November my Son Riley was born with a port wine stain (birthmark) on his face, after a MRI scan he was diagnosed with Sturge Webber Syndrome.

Sturge Webber Syndrome is a rare condition that affects one in 20,000/ 50,000 babies. As well as the port wine stain affecting the skin, it will also involve an extra layer of blood vessels over the surface of the brain. This can cause later symptoms such as epilepsy, glaucoma, hemiplegia and learning difficulties.
