Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

Story

I am hosting a Zumbathon in memory of my sister who was stabbed to death by her partner leaving her four children behind. I am hoping that by doing this event I can help women and children escape the abuse they are living in and raise awareness of organisations that can help.

Attendance to the Zumbathon is through paying £5 on the just giving page leaving your email address so you can be given a text to show on the day.

For further details please go to www.facebook.com/zumbathonderby

If you are not able to attend but wish to donate please feel free. Everything helps.

Thank you for your support
