We are fundraising for a fantastic cause Little Havens Childrens Hospice.

Little havens Childrens Hospice when most people think of it the think of a place where children die, a place of doom and gloom.

Little havens is so much more

Little havens is a place where seriously ill children and their families can go to relax and spend precious family time together.

Lots of children see it as a holiday , it is very much like a holiday , lots of buzzing activity, children can have a swim in the hydro pool, go have time in the sensory room, take a walk in the beautiful gardens play on the swings etc, have music therepy, craft time and so much more.

families in the same situation us as come to little havens for much needed resbite as we dont have any other form of resbite so its a much needed distraction from everyday life, we come here and go into the parent accomodation which is like a lovely hotel room, while josh is wonderfully cared for by the fabulous staff in his lovely room.  Mums and dads dont have to make meals on their stays at little havens thats all done for you.

siblings are encouraged to join in with all activities that happen during the stay.

mums and dad can get a complimentry massage.

we all come away from little havens feeling refreshed.

The other part  of little havens is the part no parent wants but we all know deep down its going to happen, when this time comes little havens have a dedicated suite where you can spend this precious time with your child daying goodbye in your own time with ur family around you.  

after this sad time doesnt mean the end of little havens they are there for support, they even have a group for siblings to go to, have fun  but also chat about their sibling.
