WE MADE IT !!!

Kassy and Tammy have done their 10 mile swim on the 4th May .

 Having spent a good amount of the morning smothered in coconut oil lying on towels and only in underwear on our bed , at 12pm we set out ,swim Mp3 players in our ears ,in the Virgin Esporta pool to do our swim.

It was achieved in 4 hours 10 mins between us ( including toilet stops and refuelling ! ). Kassy did 4 miles ( 256 lengths doing 3 different strokes ) and Tammy doing the remaining 6 miles ( 384 lengths ) .

We want to say a big thank you to my parents Mr and Mrs Peat for length counting duties , which apparently was like watching paint dry !!! Also to Virgin for allowing us to use the pool and for helping with fund raising on the day , to Toni and Irene Ball of Headlines for hair products , and to all of our sponsors for being so generous .

When all money is counted we will have raised nearly £3000 . Fantastic ! so thank you everyone .
