So, I'm getting a tattoo on my underarm with a design based off of the Amazon's Goliath Bird-Eating Spider.

My aim for this crazy deed: to protect the rainforests of the world by raising money for Cool Earth.

Protect acres of endangered Amazonian rainforest.

Provide sustainable farming for indigenous communities.

Train a forester to keep illegal loggers out of the rainforest.

Buy stationary for rainforest schools supported by Cool Earth.

Deforestation not only threatens the lives of many animals, plants AND humans, but also realeases a large amount of CO2, leading to a rise in global temperatures that will affect our planet considerably. Not only that, but rainforests 20% of the world's water, and a fifth of the world's oxygen.

That's water and oxygen that we ALL need, regardless of geographical location.

So help protect the animals and plants of the rainforest, most of which are already endangered; and protect the home of the many indeginous tribes that live there.
