<p>Hi, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving fundraising page for Congo Women on September 11. Well, I managed to run - in fact went off track at times in order to find space and get a steady pace going. It was great fun and a wonderful way to raise funds and awareness of the campaign to help Congo women re-build their lives. The target &pound;300 is now broken and including gift aid am now on the way to raising &pound;450, which will provide three women with Life-Skills training that includes providing them with sustainable incomes, decision-making tools, social networks and safety nets.</p> <p>Women in the Congo bear an appalling burden - the conflict there has led to gang rape, torture, witnessing their husbands and children killed... So, please help if you can.</p> <p><span class="ecxapple-style-span"><span style="color: #333333;">100% of the funds raised go directly&nbsp;to Women for Women&rsquo;s programmes in Congo.&nbsp; Life-Skills Training equips a woman with the knowledge and confidence to exercise greater decision-making power within her family and community - contributing to sustainable and lasting change.</span></span></p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
