Kate's Skydive for The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund

Skydive for The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund · 6 August 2016
13 years ago a guy walked into the bar I was working at and while holding a stein of beer in his hand said “You and I are going to do a skydive darling”. Little did I know that this man would become such a big part of my life.
David tragically died running the London Marathon on Sunday 24th April. Serving as a Captain in the British Army, David was running in support of Help for Heroes and to date over £190,000 has been raised in his honour. I'm taking part in the skydive challenge on Saturday 6th August in his memory and to raise money for The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund.
The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund provides financial grants to wounded service personnel and veterans of the British Armed Forces who require rehabilitation, home adaptations or support to gain qualifications and setting up businesses. Since its establishment, there have been one hundred and fifty-four beneficiaries from the fund where the money has been used to rebuild lives.
This would not have been possible had it not been for the generous donations and fundraising. David believed passionately in supporting wounded personnel and veterans and, thanks to your support, his legacy will continue for many years to come.
