We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Duncan and I are taking part in the North Devon half marathon in June.  We are supporting the Capablebrowns4emily team who are raising money for Bloodwise.

The Brown and the Anderson family have been through the most heart wrenching journey- little Emily Brown lost her brave battle against leukaemia age just seven and a half.  All we could do was watch and pray for a cure and good news.  Sadly Emily passed away on 26th February 2018.

The money raised will help Bloodwise to help give hope to other families who face the same battle.

The North Devon half marathon is 13 tough miles of coastal, fell and hilly terrain.  The landscape is stunning, rugged and invigorating and every step along the beautiful gorse  and heather lined path will be in memory of the bravest little girl and her wonderful family.
