Story

So…. I have been threatening to attempt the BIG ONE for a while and I guess if you’re going to run 26.2 miles dressed entirely in pink you might as well do it in Brighton..... D-day is 15 April and I need your help….ideally in picking me up at the 13 mile mark and driving me to the finish line, but if this is too big an ask then your hard earned cash will do. Please!

I’m running for Breast Cancer Care and although I am technically paid to say this (yes I am lucky enough to work for this amazing charity) – this really is the most incredible cause. Everyone says that though don't they? OK, i'll prove it....

Here are the hard facts: Breast cancer incidence is on the rise. Almost 50,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK. That’s one person every 10 minutes.

With an estimated 550,000 people living in the UK today who have had a diagnosis it’s true to say that this disease really does touch everyone. Each one of us will know someone who has been affected. Someone who has been given the devastating news that they have breast cancer. Someone who has or still is facing the fear and confusion in dealing with this life threatening illness.

Breast Cancer Care supports the woman behind the cancer. We provide free, professional support and information to anyone affected by breast cancer; the individual, their family and friends.  We are here every step of the way.

But this is only possible because of the generosity of people like you. So please, please help us to keep on doing this great work. Dig deep and sponser me – I’ll be the one in pink crossing that 26.2 mile finish line……………..

Thank you so much

Love Croxy xxx
